Step inside the new Island Tower addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows with a first look at the resort’s room type accommodations, including its spacious one-bedroom villa and uniquely-themed deluxe studio.

Here to reveal the theming behind this island-inspired adventure is Interior Designer Madeleine Day, one of the many Walt Disney Imagineers responsible for creating the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, scheduled to open December 17, 2024.

Celebrating the art and tradition of Polynesian way-finding, the way-finders and the natural elements of earth, water, wind and sky, WDI collaborated with over a dozen artists from around the world to embody the beautiful Polynesian Islands. From original artwork inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Moana, to plush rugs made from recycled plastic bottles, the new addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is (sustainably) designed to bring the spirit of Polynesia and Disney magic to life.
