Universal Orlando Resort has announced that it is to close due to the potential for Hurricane Milton to tear through the resort with hurricane force winds, heavy rain, flooding and tornadoes all possible.
Universal Orlando Resort has today, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, announced that the resort is suspending operations and closing ahead of a potentially devastating hit from Hurricane Milton.
Hurricane Milton has the potential to be one of the most destructive hurricanes on record, with the National Hurricane Center warning that Milton poses a “extremely serious threat” to Florida with life-threatening impacts.
