While Disney Cruise Line no longer offers actual land and sea packages that combine a trip to Walt Disney World with a Disney cruise, it’s still common for guests to book a Disney resort to enjoy before or after their cruise.  When it comes to DVC, which resorts are best for pre- and post-cruise?

For Low Points

If stretching your points matters most, the older DVC resorts will be the most economical thanks to their low points charts.  This includes Old Key West, BoardWalk, Boulder Ridge, Beach Club, Saratoga Springs, and Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Copper Creek may be a newer resort, but since its point chart is in line with that of Boulder Ridge, it too can be a good choice.  

Among these resorts, studios start at as little as 7 points a night for a Value Studio at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but even the easier-to-book Deluxe Studio at Old
