While government offices, schools and businesses across Central Florida close their doors and hunker down Thursday when Hurricane Helene nears Florida, Walt Disney World is doing something different.

Disney is offering extended hours at the Magic Kingdom.

The park was scheduled to close at 6 p.m., but Disney announced it is extending operating hours until 8 p.m. “for guests to enjoy more time in the park.”

Disney will close Typhoon Lagoon water park for the day, and has canceled Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
