While the Six Flags/Cedar Fair merger might have seemed like a chilling uncertainty, it has quickly given rise to something even more terrifying: Fright Fest Extreme. Now part of the same family as Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain wasn’t about to let their Halloween rival keep the crown. Over the past year, they’ve amassed new concepts, IPs, and plenty of spray-on cobwebs (thanks to a Snickers sponsorship) to launch a truly terrifying event. This year’s Fright Fest marks Magic Mountain’s largest Halloween investment ever, even poaching a few scares from Universal’s Horror Nights!
