In 1995, The Walt Disney Company collaborated with Pixar Animation Studios to create the world’s first fully computer-animated feature film, Toy Story. Since then, the two studios have produced a remarkable array of films, including Monsters, Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), Ratatouille (2007), Up (2009), Inside Out (2015), Coco (2017), Elemental (2023), and many others.
Pixar has made such a significant impression on Disney fans that in 2018, Disney held its inaugural Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort, featuring specialty food and beverages, limited-edition merchandise, rare character meet-and-greets, and a nightly fireworks show.
