There is now a new Lightning Lane option at Disneyland!

Over the summer, Genie+ transformed into Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Individual Lightning Lane became Lightning Lane Single Pass. This new system allows you to book Lightning Lanes at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure through the Disneyland app. Unlike Disney World, you cannot book Lightning Lanes in advance. If you are tired of constantly having to be on your phone to book Lightning Lanes, soon there will be a third option called Lightning Lane Premier
