In September, Universal Studios Hollywood rolled out the pink carpet to welcome Hello Kitty and her posse to Universal CityWalk in style, with the grand opening of the all-new Hello Kitty and Friends Café – the first of its kind in L.A. – and the Sanrio Smile Shop.
Beginning today, both the cafe and shop are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty (which is officially November 1, 2024), with new menu items and a new merchandise collection dedicated to the momentous milestone.
