There’s scene in the musical “Mrs. Doubtfire” in which things go comedically awry for young Christopher Hillard at his birthday party. But everything’s going right for Orlando actor Axel Bernard Rimmele, who plays Chris in the national tour of the Broadway musical.
“I actually got to celebrate my birthday onstage,” says Axel, who turned 12 on a day he performed in the touring production, which stops at Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts from April 23-28. “It was really cool.”
